LIDDY E CECOTTO TERZI IN GARA 2
Un week end ricco di soddisfazioni per il GSM RACING che sul circuito di Barcellona ha disputato il terzo round del Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
Sabato in Gara 1 il duo Liddy – Cecotto ha sfiorato il podio. Una gara difficile dovuta soprattutto alle condizioni climatiche. La pioggia aveva infatti reso il circuito pieno di insidie. Jonathan Cecotto si è messo alla guida per primo rimanendo a lungo leader in gara. Al cambio pilota, l’entrata della safety car ha complicato un po’ le cose per Liddy che ha tagliato il traguardo in quarta posizione.
Ottimo risultato in Gara 2 con Liddy alla guida sin dall’inizio e un Cecotto che sul finale riesce a passare il danese Rossel strappandogli il terzo posto.
“Un week end di gare avvincente che ci ha regalato delle belle emozioni e tanta soddisfazione” questa la dichiarazione del Team Manager Andrea Grillini “miglioriamo ogni gara e riusciamo sempre a rimanere nei top 5, obiettivo che ci eravamo proposti quando abbiamo incominciato questa avventura. Un grazie ai due nostri giovani piloti e a tutto lo staff per il prezioso lavoro svolto nelle ultime settimane”.
Il prossimo appuntamento con il Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe è fissato per il 23 e 24 ottobre sul circuito belga di Spa-Francorchamps a precedere la storica 24 Ore riservata a vetture GT3.

LIDDY AND CECOTTO THIRD IN RACE 2
A weekend full of satisfactions for GSM RACING for the third round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo on the Barcelona circuit.
On Saturday in Race 1, the duo Liddy – Cecotto missed the podium. A difficult race mainly due to the climatic conditions. The rain and un unstable weather had in fact made the circuit full of pitfalls. Jonathan Cecotto was the first to jump on the car in Race 1 and remained leader of the race for a long time. When Liddy took his place the entry of the safety car complicated things a bit for him, however he succeded in taking the checkered flag in fourth position.
Excellent result in Race 2 with Liddy from the start and Cecotto who few minutes from the end of the race, managed to overtake the Danish Rossel, snatching him from third place.
“A thrilling weekend of races that gave us great emotions and a lot of satisfaction”, this is the declaration of Team Manager Andrea Grillini “we improve every race and we always manage to stay in the top 5, a goal we set ourselves when we started this adventure. Thanks to our two young drivers and to all the staff for the precious work done in the last few weeks ”.
Next up for Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe is the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on the weekend of 20-24 October. A staple of the Super Trofeo Europe calendar, the championship runs on the support bill of the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
