Yuzu is widespread in China, Tibet, Japan, and Korea and unlike most other citrus fruits, it can withstand very cold temperatures. It is rich in vitamin C and polyphenols. The acidic taste makes lime the ideal ingredient for many cocktails and drinks: Caipirinha, Caipiroska, Daiquiri, Gimlet, and Mojito are just some of the most famous examples that demonstrate how this fruit can be combined with any alcohol base. Mixer lime puree can be used for batching with a dilution ratio of up to 1:6 for 7 liters of ready-to-use shelf stable lime juice.
