Wooden box Isla Coiba 21 anos

Isla Coiba 21 anos is a dark amber-coloured rum with barely golden reflections. Nose almost impenetrable, dense, rich, complex. Very complex spicy sensations, nutmeg, dry tobacco, a memory of wet wood and a vortex of vanilla and a beautiful caramelized sensation.

The fruit is macerated, papaya jam, very ripe banana, zabaglione and a slight spicy, almost saline sensation, certainly dry but enveloping. Its meditative nature does not immediately reveal all its cards, and it takes a few drops of water to yield all the important fruity sensations that are always enclosed in a warm vortex, where tobacco softens just enough to move from cigar to pipe.

Important, warm and dense mouth with a beautiful dry final, barely woody note. Apparently impenetrable, it yields its best forms with extreme caution, almost a sensual and refined proceeding. It stands out for its extreme roundness and its never cloying sweetness.
