Riviera Premium Gin Italiano
THE FIRST ITALIAN GIN WHOSE BASE IS DISTILLED FROM WINE
The recipe was created by an English officer stationed during the Second World War in the city of Rimini, taken by nostalgia for his distillate, and by Virgilio Leardini landowner who later kept the recipe in the family drawers, found many years later by his great-grandson Alessandro.
Riviera Gin, produced in an ancient Tuscan distillery, is currently the only gin in Italy that comes from a base of Sangiovese wine.
Riviera Gin, an artisanal and natural product, has among its botanicals: coriander, cinnamon, elderflower, ginger, juniper, bergamot, and sweet oranges. Thanks to its unobtrusive taste, it goes perfectly with gourmet cuisine.
Gin with white tea and Sangiovese wine alcohol base
The wine alcohol base of Riviera 47 Italian Gin stands out immediately but without being invasive, supported by the typical aroma of black grapes. Its alcohol content, which is stronger than its twin’s one, 41%, makes the scents of juniper and the aromas of elderflower and coriander more persistent. The addition of white tea gives it its distinctive amber colour and a pleasantly silky note on the palate. It is a distillate that winks at the lovers of grape brandies, for this reason it is suitable to be well appreciated neat and as a bold variant to the more classic blends.
